The Husqvarna 560 XP G chainsaw has been designed especially for professionals and skilled landowners. The saw has the needs of logging and felling in mind with rapid acceleration and higher chain speed providing the best limbing performance. The saw is full of features that make for highly efficient and convenient operation. Husqvarna’s X-Torq engine technology means more power when it’s needed, up to 20% less fuel consumption and 75% fewer exhaust emissions.

The model also comes with RevBoost, AutoTune; Smart Start and LowVib technology, improving performance and ergonomics in one fell swoop. RevBoost is a way of boosting chain speed for even more efficient de-limbing. AutoTune puts a stop to manual carburettor adjustments and provides optimal engine performance during automatic engine setting. It can also compensate for different humidity, fuel, temperate, clogged air filters and altitude. Smart Start and LowVib provide swift and easy engine starting and extremely low vibrations in the machine, making the chainsaw even easier to operate. This is done thanks to anti-vibration dampeners which absorb vibration. Smart Start also improves resistance in the starter cord but reducing it by up to 40% G models, such as the 560 XP G come with heating coils in the front and rear handles, which help make operating in wet and cold conditions more comfortable.

The carburettor is also heated and makes starting and operating in cold conditions less of a task. Ease of use is a big thing for Husqvarna and a side-mounted chain tensioner makes chain adjustment quick and easy. Not only that but distinct coloured felling marks help improve felling precision. Checking fuel levels on the 560 XP G is also made extremely easy thanks to a transparent fuel indicator allowing for an easy fuel level check. The fuel tank also has a flip-up cap which makes re-fuelling nice and simple. Engine flooding can be an issue with some chainsaws, not this one though as a combined choke/stop control allows for reduced risk of flooding and much easier engine starting.

Durability is a big thing for professional loggers and fellers so Husqvarna has developed a forged three-piece crankshaft and magnesium crankcase, both built to withstand high rpm and maximise saw durability which all provides for longer service life. Servicing can be a task in itself when it comes to chainsaws so a few features have been added to the 560 XP G to make life easier. Bar nuts are quite easily lost during heavy-duty operation so the chainsaw has been fitted with a retaining function to prevent this.

Quick-release features also make life easy as the air filter and cylinders are made easier to access, clean or replace with new parts. Another factor in managing air filters is a centrifugal air cleaning system which means reduced wear and longer stretches of time between filter cleaning.
