They have now developed a new brushless motor based on the ones seen in model aeroplanes and with this motor comes added power and performance – the kind required to push a battery machine into petrol-powered capabilities. With this in mind, it is obvious that Husqvarna has their designs with the professionals in mind and the 535i XP is not only a high-performance cordless chainsaw but it can also offer a lightweight, sleek, and ergonomic design suited to the tree surgeon to a contractor and anything in-between. The Husqvarna 535i XP comes with a solid maximum chains speed of 20m/s, and 15m/s in savE mode, plus an interchangeable 14” inch long bar. Other features of the chainsaw include a distinct lack of need for maintenance, retaining bar nuts, flip-up tank caps and an inertia chain brake system, meaning extra safety in the event of a sudden upwards jolt or kickback.
