As it is a G model of Husqvarna Chainsaws, also comes with heated handles in comparison to its brother model the 550XP, which does not. The heated handles come in perfect for working under wet and cold conditions. A sleek and slim design paired with a powerful 50.1cc engine means the 550XPG II can perform well in almost any condition. The Chainsaw comes with a 15” bar as standard but is suited to an array of other bar sizes. X-Torq engines provide the user with a heightened knowledge that they’re saving 20% of their money on fuel, as well as helping the environment by reducing their level of fuel emissions by up to 75%. This is all with no effect on results as the 550XPG still manages to produce the best results. Another handy piece of technology on the Husqvarna 550 XP G II is SmartStart which enables the chainsaw to start with minimum ease, so paired with an added fuel pump and heated carburettor, you should have fewer issues starting up in cold conditions. AutoTune works well with the 550XPG’s X-TORQ engine eradicating time spent on adjusting the carburettor and can make up for different humidity, temperatures, altitudes, fuel and clogged air filters. Along with that Husqvarna’s RevBoost technology provides a much-improved chain speed and acceleration, proving perfect for tasks such as de-limbing.

Ease-of-use features such as LowVib and a combined choke/stop control are maybe the unsung heroes of the 550XPG, allowing for less vibration and easier machine start-up and a reduced chance of engine flooding.
