The chainsaw benefits from an X-Torq engine offering lower emissions and reduced fuel costs while offering a top level of professional power and performance. Other features include a centrifugal air cleaning system for reduced wear on the machine while offering more time between filter cleaning.

The 450 Chainsaw also benefits from a bunch of ergonomic features such as an auto-return stop switch for easy engine start-up after a break in work, along with an ergonomic handle offering an asymmetrical position and soft grip inlay. Not only this but a fuel pump and SmartStart allow the chainsaw to be started up with minimal effort and less stress on the pull cord.
